What is the likelihood of the house being available as a choice for the Grand Prize Winner?

A threshold for minimum number of tickets sold will be set each year so that the raffle can be a sustainable fundraiser for Special Olympics Northern California. If the threshold is met, then the house remains an option for the Grand Prize Winner. There are 60,000 Primary tickets available for sale in the current raffle. A minimum of 55,000 Primary tickets must be sold in order for the house to remain a choice for the Grand Prize Winner.

Why is there a ticket threshold for the house to be an option for the Grand Prize?

All prizes for the House & Dreams Raffle are purchased by Special Olympics Northern California, including the house. In order for the raffle to continue as a viable fundraiser, a minimum number of tickets need to be sold so that Special Olympics Northern California can purchase the house if the Grand Prize Winner selects this option.

At least two weeks. All tickets purchased before an entry deadline are included in a drawing even if the customer's portion of the ticket arrives after the drawing date.

How long will it take to receive my receipt by email?

Receipts are delivered within 5 minutes after an order is processed to the email address provided at the time of entry. If you did not receive your email receipt, check your SPAM folder or add norcalraffle.com as a trusted name in your address book.

Is this raffle legal?

Yes it is. In the summer of 2001, the California Legislature amended the state constitution to allow eligible non-profit organizations to conduct raffles as a means of raising funds. Special Olympics Northern California is registered with the California Attorney General's Office to conduct this charitable raffle.

Will the drawings be audited?

Yes, an independent raffle auditor will audit the raffle and supervise the Grand Prize drawing.
